We introduced the symbolizing monuments of Spain with their pictures.

 

                              

We introduced the famous artist of spain, starting with visual art and Picasso as the artist to let children know more about culture.

We showed and discussed the paintings of Picasso, also elaborating on art and the historical backgrounds, digging deeper into culture.

 

We talked about a particular subject in the artist's creations to let children know more about the special choices of subjects in art and their symbols to inspire them about creation.

 

                                            

Besides arts, we also introduced them to literature to read the book Don Quixote together and discuss their impression of each character. During the reading, we found that they may be more focused on the words itself instead of the meanings. So we asked questions while reading to encourage them to summarize the context and find the message in the story.
